Tchipev v Kallithea

In July 2009, FIFA condemned the Greek club, FC Kallithea, to pay the Bulgarian player, Tzvetomir Tchipev, a fixed amount of money for outstanding payments and compensation for unjustified breach of contract.

The club recently appealed against the FIFA decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), but failed to pay its share of advance of costs and the appeal was deemed withdrawn, with immediate effect.

Tchipev granted Kallithea a short deadline, until 8 October 2010, to cancel its default. Otherwise, the matter will be submitted to the FIFA Disciplinary Committee, without delay.

Tzvetomir Tchipev was represented before FIFA and CAS by Georgi Gradev.
