Mohamed Hamid v Ahmed Fathy

On 11 August 2010, FIFA rendered its decision in the dispute between the players' agent, Mohamed Hamid, and the Egyptian international player, Ahmed Fathy, regarding an outstanding commission fee for the move of the player to Sheffield United in January 2007.

FIFA ruled in favor of the players' agent, ordering the player to pay the entire outstanding commission to the players' agent deriving from the player’s move to Sheffield United in January 2007. In addition, FIFA ordered the player to pay to the agent default interest of 5% per year, running from 31 January 2007.

The grounded FIFA decision was communicated with the parties on 24 November 2010.
